Watched Ip Man with Z yesterday. Quite a nice show, but I find it a tad similar to "Huo Yuan Jia".
Ip Man is adapted from the life story of Yip Man, the grandmaster of the Wing Chun style of kung fu and sifu of legendary kung fu superstar Bruce Lee. At first I thought it's all fighting scenes.. but not so. A bit of humour was added in and made it quite light hearted to watch and easier to understand for the ladies. Heh.
The movie was named after Yip Man, but somehow they titled it IP MAN (Eep. Mun pronounced the cantonese way). But Z was at the counter, asking tickets for IP Man (as in Aai. Peee. Menh)
"WHAT?! I thought IP is the short form of some kungfu moves what" was his reply to my duh face. LOL.
