Ming - A pri. school mate's getting married this Sun. Couldn't make it as something cropped up last minute. Well honestly, didn't felt like going coz its only an SMS with no proper invitation anyway. And most of the gang ain't going too since we've lost touch for a long time. Anyway, being the nice and polite me, i texted him to say i can't make it (not forgetting the apologies and congrats).

What does it mean you say? Totally upset and pissed. True colours shown. I'm hoping that its not what i think. But then - what is it he's trying to say? Weddings are not about getting people to fill up your banquet tables rite?! Its about getting friends and relatives to share your joy isn't it? FYI - You book tables for banquets, not by individual seats. Plus the hotel (or any of your married friends) would have taught you how to buffer the number of guests turning up. Its NOT like I went to the dinner without an angbao. And ate a lot etc. But who started by being the insincere one by just sending us a reminder msg (Via Friendster) on the invitation?! DAMMIT.
We didn't became friends after PSLE days - that explains why. Its disappointing when people get in touch with you only when they wanna sell you some funds/investments,/policies or inviting u to their wedding for the sake of cutting down on their banquet losses. What the.
